What is Red Light Therapy?
Red light therapy is a natural healthcare resource used to regenerate the body’s cells and give them more energy. The process in which this happens is called photobiomodulation. The wavelength of red light gives cells more energy.
When the cells have more energy they can function better. This brings health and healing to the body. The body’s cells are responsible for many very important functions of the body. These include: structure/support, growth, transporting nutrients and waste, energy production, metabolism and reproduction.
A red light therapy treatment is simple. Just sit in front of a tower that emits red light and near infrared light. The specific wavelengths at Get Salty & Lit are red light at 650nm and near infrared at 850nm.
Get Salty & Lit offers red light therapy in our Full Spectrum Infrared Saunas Click here to go to our Infrared Sauna Therapy web page.

Please be free of ALL scented products prior to coming in.
This includes: essential oils, lotion, perfumes, colognes, smoking/vaping.
What to Wear and Bring
Bring:
water bottle – if bringing a reusable water bottle we have a water station to fill it as needed. We do NOT allow refilling of disposable water bottles at our water station.
Attire:
Something with a lot of skin showing – a swimsuit or something similar. This is a hot sweaty treatment. We do ask that bottoms stay on during infrared sauna treatments.

After your visit we recommend showering within 1 hour of the end of your treatment. This is to get the toxins that you released through your sweat off of your skin. After about an hour they start to absorb back into your body.
